We're excited to announce that Sociology will be moving to a new space on Campus East.
For students joining us for the first time and for our returning students, you'll be starting September in a brand new home. What was known as the Law and Management Building will become the home for Sociology and will be shared with York Law School. It offers fantastic facilities for Sociology students including bespoke teaching and learning spaces, two lecture theatres, a catering outlet and break-out areas for socialising or more informal work.
New friends - new opportunities
The move to a new home is more than a change in location. Sharing this space with York Law School offers the chance to meet new people, make new friends and think about your discipline in new ways. Campus East hosts a number of places to eat and socialise, and there are a range of shops nearby. You’ll be close to the Sports Village and there’s regular bus services to take you to Campus West or the city.
